Experience the autumnal shift at Courageous Awakenings™. Set in serene Pendle Hill, where Parker Palmer himself found insight, this 3-night retreat offers a sacred space to reflect and grow. As the leaves change, so can you—transitioning from what was, to what is, and what may be.

Check-in for the retreat begins at 3 PM on Wednesday, October 3rd, with the welcome dinner at 6 PM.
Opening circle is from 7:15 PM to 9:30 PM.

The retreat concludes on Sunday, October 6, after lunch.


The cost of the retreat includes the entire programming, three nights’ accommodations, all meals, snacks and beverages.
Transportation to and from Pendle Hill is not included. (The Philadelphia airport is only a 15-minute drive from Pendle Hill.)

A pioneer in psychedelic guidance and a Courage & Renewal facilitator in training, Peggy brings a blend of scientific rigor and spiritual depth to her workshops.

Peggy is a trailblazer in the field of psychedelic guiding, deeply committed to nurturing love, gratitude, and compassion. Peggy’s approach is both scientifically grounded and spiritually uplifting. A certified yoga teacher and Real Dialogue™ Specialist, Peggy is committed to keeping conflict humanized and ending the polarization that fractures families that contribute to war. She is a Courage & Renewal Facilitator (in training) who is passionate about creating safe and supportive spaces where individuals can cultivate the deep introspection that supports the “hidden wholeness” to emerge.

Dawn Montgomery, Ed.D.

An expert in transformative change, Dawn supports leaders across sectors in navigating complex challenges with empathy and insight.

Dawn is a change facilitator and insightful thought partner. She supports leaders from a wide variety of fields, including educators, nonprofit executives, and community administrators as they find their way in challenging times. Her commitment to environmental and human health and healing resonates throughout her coaching practice and team facilitation. She believes transformation is born when a circle of humans sit together to listen, to speak their deepest truths and to share their wildest imaginations for change. She is expert at holding space for both individual leaders and teams as an executive coach, conflict mediator, equity-focused professional developer and a certified Courage and Renewal facilitator.
